The mountain Prenj offers a breathtaking natural scenery and great hiking opportunities in some of the last untamed natural locations and wilderness available in Europe. It has been called the “Herzegovinian Himalaya” by numerous mountaineers.
The itinerary includes a climb to the top of the highest peak Zelena glava (Green head), which is 2155 m high. From this peak one can experience an amazing view of the surrounding mountains Velež, Čvrsnica, Bjelašnica, Visočica.

Cvrsnica is one of the highest mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina (11 peaks above 2000 m), and its the highest peak is Plocno. (2228 m). Plocno is the highest mountain peak in all Herzegovina area and bears the name ”Herzegovina’s roof”. The Cvrsnica mountain area features a fascinating series of plateaus and crests, broken by deep gullies where the many tributaries of the Neretva river flow.
